About

Marilyn & Lincoln Warrell receiving the candy industry Kettle Award, June 2004In 1965, three Warrell families purchased the assets of Pennsylvania Dutch Candies, a specialty candy manufacturer/distributor in the small town of Mount Holly Springs, PA. With less than $1,000,000 in sales and only regional distribution, Lincoln Warrell took the old-fashioned candy and food concept and sold the products nationally to specialty stores.

Throughout the 1970’s and ‘80’s, the company expanded into additional manufacturing and branded products through several candy company acquisitions, Katharine Beecher and Melster Candies.

Manufacturing/Distribution Plant in Camp Hill, PAIn May 2000, the company made its most aggressive endeavor to date by relocating two Pennsylvania plants into one 200,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility in Camp Hill, PA. The move effectively quadrupled its space. Additional investment in manufacturing and packaging technologies, quality control, and research & development has made the plant a first class candy operation.

The Seven Second Generation Warrell’s, June 2007The second generation of Warrell family is helping to lead the company into the future. An engaged family ownership commitment to providing best in class product quality, service, and value is the driving forces for the future of the company.
